Cooperation project for 5 artists focuses on soundscape ecology, sustainability, and environmental listening
ECHOES – European Concert Halls Offering Eco-Solutions invites emerging and mid-career artists from Creative Europe participating countries to join an international co-creation process dedicated to soundscape ecology, sustainability, and environmental listening.
This Open Call will select 5 artists who will collaboratively compose and produce the Eco-Soundscapes Album and participate in an international tour in 2027.
* ECHOES is a European cooperation project designed to integrate sustainability into the live music ecosystem - from venues and artists to audiences and communities.
The project operates at the intersection of:
- Environmental sustainability
- Contemporary music creation
- Transnational artistic collaboration
- Digital innovation

AMOUNT
All travel and recording expenses are covered by the project. Each of the 5 selected artists will receive a participation fee of 1,000 euros. All works will be co-produced with clear agreements regarding authorship and rights and will be distributed internationally.

- Sound and environment
- Music and sustainability
- Listening and ecological awareness
- Place and acoustic identity
Applicants are invited to propose artistic ideas that:
- Engage with natural, urban, or hybrid sound environments
- Reflect on biodiversity, climate change, or human - environment relationships
- Explore emotional, social, or ecological dimensions of sound
- Can evolve into a shared album concept through collective creation
