Creative Europe | Call for European Cooperation projects 2026

Creative Europe aims to foster cooperation between organisations active in the field of culture with a €60 million call

This year's call will support projects carrying out a broad spectrum of activities and initiatives involving artists and stakeholders active in different cultural and creative sectors. With a budget of around €60 million, the action will foster cooperation between organisations active in the field of culture, increasing the cross-border dimension of creation and circulation of European artistic content. It will also encourage the development, experimentation, dissemination, and application of new and innovative practices.

The action is expected to support around 150 projects.

Support will be given to projects addressing one of the following objectives:

Objective 1 - Transnational creation and circulation: to strengthen the transnational creation and circulation of European works and artists.

Objective 2 – Innovation: to enhance the capacity of European cultural and creative sectors to nurture talents, to innovate, to prosper and to generate jobs and growth.

AMOUNT

Small Scale projects:

- The consortium must be composed of minimum 3 independent entities from 3 different eligible countries.
- The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 200 000 per project.
- The funding rate is of maximum 80%

Medium Scale projects:

- The consortium must be composed of minimum 5 independent entities from 5 different eligible countries.
- The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 1 000 000 per project.
- The funding rate is of maximum 70%

ELIGIBILITY

European cooperation projects are open to all the cultural and creative sectors. However, considering that this action is part of the Culture strand of the Creative Europe programme, projects with exclusive audio-visual content and/or exclusively composed of organisations from the audio-visual sector are not eligible to apply.
