The Kazimir Malevich Art Prize was established in 2008. It is a testament to the memory and recognition of Kazimir Malevich, an artist of Polish origin who was born in Kyiv. The prize is awarded every two years to contemporary Ukrainian artists.

AMOUNT
The winner of the Kazimir Malevich Art Prize 2025 will receive:
1. A cash prize of 5,000 EUR from the Polish Institute in Kyiv.
2. Participation in an artistic residency in 2026 at the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw.

ELIGIBLE COUNTRIES
ELIGIBILITY
- Ukrainian artists aged 18 to 45, regardless of their place of residence, working with contemporary visual art in a broad sense;
- a group of artists working with contemporary visual art, each of the participants meets the general criteria (is a Ukrainian artist aged 18 to 45, can live both in Ukraine and outside Ukraine).
