Visegrad Fund's Artist residency supports creativity in the visual and sound art fields
Artists Residencies as mobility, whether for study or research, are a central part of Visegrad Fund's aim to foster creativity and promote understanding between people across borders. This year's open call is for artists and artist groups pursuing innovative ideas and wishing to engage in conversation on contemporary art in Visegrad region.
Visual and Sound Artists Residency
Visual and Sound Artists Residency facilitates mobility and artistic exchanges of V4 (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) citizens in the fields of visual and sound arts, including design, music, video and film, new media, and mixed media.
Your application must include the following enclosures:
- Copy of your ID or passport
- Artistic portfolio (files or link to artist´s website)
- Scan of acceptance letter issued by the host organization, which includes the name of the artist; title of the project; planned dates of the project; date; name and signature of the statutory representative

AMOUNT
The amount of the support is €1,000 per month for resident and €1,250 per month for the host organization; each residency project receives €4,500 in total.

ELIGIBILITY
Visual and Sound Artists Residencies are open to artists working in the following disciplines: Visual Arts (including performance art, textile art and architecture), Design (fashion, costume, jewelry, ceramics and furniture design, visual communication), Music/Sound (interpretation, sound installation, sound performance, composition) and Video/Film/New Media/Mixed Media (including video installation) from a V4 country.
APPLICATION DETAILS
The application form must be submitted via My Visegrad by October 15, 2024 at 12.00 PM (noon). The online application system opens on September 15, 2024 at noon. It is not possible to apply outside of this submission period.Your application must include the following enclosures:
